Class Schedule

Tuesday:

Beginner Aikido - 6:00 - 6:50 PM

Regular Aikido - 7:00 - 8:30 PM

Saturday: 

Adult Aikido Class - 9:00 - 11:00 AM

Kids Aikido Class (ages 5 - 12) - 10:00 - 11:00 AM

Visitors are welcome to watch any classes. All students must sign a waiver to participate and those under eighteen must have a signature of a parent or legal guardian. To start, no one is required to purchase a uniform but students should wear comfortable clothing to practice.

Students must be at least eight years old to participate in the Beginner and Regular  Aikido class, and between 5 - 12 for the Saturday Kids Class.

Beginner Aikido Class

This class time is set aside for newer students to Aikido. These classes are smaller and focused on core techniques and concepts important to Aikido. New students are encouraged but not required to start in the Beginner Class. If you plan to only attend this class, the cost is $5 per class. If you bring a friend, they can come for free for a month.

Regular Aikido Class
All levels of experience and interest are welcome! These classes will cover:

• Rolling and warm-up exercises
• Continuous practice of techniques
• Testing curriculum
• Weapons (wooden sword, staff, and knife)

Holidays and Weather Information

There will not be class on legal holidays. If the weather is not safe, please do not come to class. As a general rule, if the University of Nebraska - Omaha (UNO) cancels classes, we will not be open.
