About Us

The focus of Aikido Omaha, LLC is to provide students with quality martial arts instruction, in a safe and positive learning environment.  The head instructor, Randy Porter, has been training Aikido since 1996 and teaching since 2001.  We are not interested in just teaching self-defense, we are interested in developing each individual student into the best martial artists possible.  This development includes but is not limited to physical fitness, a relaxed and calm mind, proper etiquette, high self esteem, discipline, leadership, and exposure to Japanese culture.

Mission

The mission of Aikido Omaha, LLC is to provide students with excellent instruction, a safe and positive learning atmosphere, training space, and supervised practice time with the ultimate goal of producing well rounded martial arts leaders and technical experts in order to preserve Aikido for future generations.

Affiliation

Aikido Omaha, LLC is a satellite dojo of Sarpy Aikido Club under the instruction of Ron Christenham Sensei (6th Dan).  All members belong to Aikido of Hawai’i International (AHI) headed by Robert Kubo Shihan (7th Dan).  Aikido of Hawai’i International is affiliated with Aikikai.
